Global marine engineering and shipyard giant Seatrium has unveiled its purpose built FPSO at the FPSO World Congress. Dubbed as the FLEXHull, it features the following design specifications:
Carries heavier topside loads (up to 80,000 MT) Flexible and efficient hull design, easily modified for varying topside load requirements Expanded tank capacity for greater storage Flexible mooring systems — up to 20 points Built for deepwater depths up to 2,500 m Processes 120,000 barrels of oil/day + 10M Sm³/d of gas Stores over 1.5 million barrels of oil Designed for a 25-year lifespan, aligned with global standards (IMO, MARPOL, ABS)The FPSO has received AIP (Approval in Principle) from American Bureau of Shipping on 17th September 2025.
