
The Yùum K'ak Naab (The Lord of the Seas in Mayan), is an FPSO promoted by Blue Marine in Pemex as the most convenient and efficient solution, in respect to costs and time, for the processing and offloading of gas and petroleum.
This FPSO was built in 1981 and renovated in 2006. Its crude oil processing capacity is 200,000 barrels per day and it has a gas compression capacity of 120 million cubic feet.
The FPSO undertakes the offloading of petroleum products and gas from marine platforms for their processing and storage; this product is later transferred to the tanker vessels to be exported or distributed nationally. The lease agreement was initiated on August 1st, 2007, for a period of almost 15 years.
