Chevron to boost permian oil production as demand for reliable energy grows

Chevron plans to boost its production in the Permian Basin by 10% this year, the company said, as economic and geopolitical events underscore the importance of meeting society’s expectations for energy security and cost efficiency as well as carbon reduction.

"And as we help advance U.S. strategic objectives, we expect to reach one million barrels of oil equivalent per day in the region by 2025."
