Located in the warm waters of Dubai, the yard is spread over nearly one million square meters, with three graving docks, a floating dock, as well as more than 3,700 metres of berth space making it the largest ship repair facility in the Middle East.
Established by HH Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum’s royal decree in 1983, Drydocks World became a part of the DP World family in 2018. To date, the yard have completed more than 9,000 ship repair, maintenance and upgrade projects. Over more than 40 years of excellence, the yard have excelled in conversion projects, FPSO refits, and renewable energy projects. In 2023, the yard established its own EPC division, to ensure that the yard is setting new standards for the global marine and offshore fabrication sector in the Middle East.
